Because July 1 kicks off a new fiscal year at EY, we figured a new partners announcement would be forthcoming. And it came today, via the new leader of the Black and Yellow, Carmine Di Sibio:
Our Global Chairman and CEO, Carmine Di Sibio congratulates our new partners around the world. Their contributions have helped us establish a great relationship with our clients and our people. #BetterWorkingWorld https://t.co/Of350o46fY pic.twitter.com/tOWPcKVbVW

This year’s class of 733 is down slightly from the 747 lucky boys and girls who were named partner in 2018, but it’s still bigger than the 669 new partners in the class of 2017 and the 714 in the class of 2016.
Here’s a look at EY’s class of 2019 by the numbers:
- 275: The number of new partners in the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) area, the most of any region.
- 264: The number of new partners from the Americas region, the lowest amount since 2013.
- 241: The number of new partners in assurance, the most of any service line, followed by 188 in tax, 186 in advisory, 110 in transaction advisory services, and eight in business support.
- 30%: The number of new partners who are women.
EY is always pretty slim on the deets, so if you have any other information you can share, like the names of the new Americas PPEDDs for 2019, send us an email.
Congratulations to all the new partners at EY!
